Terms and Policies

General

It is impossible to list all of the contingencies that may apply to the various workshops and trips paw offers. If you are not sure of some aspect of a workshop please ask. We want you to be comfortable with and aware of the PAW payment policies.

You can expect to have fun learning with paw; this is the key ingredient to the success of our workshops and expeditions. You can also expect knowledgeable leaders. Our leaders have photographed at each location that we will use and are intimate with the weather, food, lodging and accessibility issues. If you have concerns and or special needs let's talk about them before you enroll.

Payment

Participation is confirmed in any workshop with a $300 deposit. Your payment in full is required 60 days prior to the workshop date unless otherwise specified. If you don't complete payment prior to the 60 day window we will attempt to fill the spot that you reserved. If and only if your spot is filled, you will be refunded your initial deposit less a $50 administration fee. Payment may be made by pay pal, personal check, money order, wire or travelers checks payable in U.S. Funds. Credit cards are only accepted via PayPal.

Confirmation

We will confirm receipt of your payment by email and/or telephone. We allow 10 days for payment to be made after booking. If we don't receive payment during that period and if we are unable to reach you by the phone number provided, your booked dates will be released. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have regarding our policies.

Cancellations, Delays & Refunds

There shall be NO REFUND for weather or acts of God that cause delay or cancellation before arrival or during the scheduled trip or workshop. We are not responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred by weather or acts of God that cause delays or cancellations. NO REFUND will be provided on cancellations within 60 days of the workshop date. If you are forced to cancel within the 60-day window you will be issued a workshop credit for a future date. There are no guarantees that the price structure will remain the same for future workshops.

Please consider obtaining trip or travel insurance to cover eventualities that may cause travel difficulties or losses you may incur. Consult your local insurance agent for details of such a policy.

We have the right to cancel any workshop for lack of registrants up to 45 days (unless otherwise specified for your workshop) prior to the workshop date. Should this unfortunate circumstance arise, you will be refunded all payments made to us for the workshop. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for any other expenses such as flights, medical, car rentals and hotels that you may have incurred.

There are not very many rules; we try to keep things very simple. If you are unclear about any of these policies or would like us to confirm your interpretation of these policies, please ask. By not asking, we assume that you understand these terms as we understand them.
