Montana Rocky Mountain Front Photo Workshop

The Montana Rocky Mountain Front is an incredibly wild area where the towering, limestone flatirons of the east side of the Rocky Mountains literally rise up out of the grassy plains that extend to the east for hundreds and hundreds of miles. In June, the front is a sea of green with wild flowers everywhere, expansive vistas, mighty rivers, and very abundant wildlife.

Mt. Rainier National Park

The big highlight here, of course, is Mt. Rainier. Standing at over 14,000 feet, you can see it from just about everywhere in the park (and the state, for that matter). In addition there are streams and waterfalls and, in the summer, flowers, flowers, flowers. We’ll probably see deer, marmot, and perhaps a fox or two.

Photographers Alliance Workshops (PAW) is a new photography workshop and tour company dedicated to exemplary teaching and superb photography. It is a community of professional photographers brought together to teach and to share their passion for photography. Simply, we are photographers from all over the country who love to help other photographers be their best. No nonsense, no excuses, no inflated egos, no huge overhead; just folks taking pictures, teaching photography and loving what they are doing. PAW is how photography ought to be taught.
